Boeing Awards APG second-option year contract in support of the Space Based Space Surveillance (SBSS) Program

Potomac Falls, VA, January 12, 2012 – Boeing Awards APG second-option year contract in support of the Space Based Space Surveillance (SBSS) Program.  Earlier this month, the Boeing Company authorized APG Technologies to proceed into their fourth consecutive year of on-site DB engineering support to the SBSS Program. “APG Technologies continues to provide outstanding, highly responsive DB Engineering support to our mission critical program. Their dedicated support to the mission is recognized, and greatly appreciated by both Boeing and the Air Force,” said Steve Anderson, Boeing Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead.  SBSS provides the ability to detect, track and monitor the movement and motives of objects in orbit and is critical to protecting our nation’s vital space assets.  In addition, APG was recognized for the first ever production deployment of the Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) and was nominated for the 2012 Partner Excellence Award.
